Unfortunately, when the US government says you need to have a white background, a snowy neighbor's house doesn't count. So when we arrived at the post office to turn everything in, the lady there said the above photo wasn't going to work. (Which was really incredibly frustrating because we had already been in twice before! The first time it turns out the passport division of the USPS closed 30 minutes earlier than the website said. The second time we were there we found out that although the website says you can walk in on Saturdays, it's really by appointment only.) And we were in a rush because Baboo needed to get the passport so she could apply for her visa ASAP.
So instead of this wonderfully planned out photo being on her passport for the next 10 years, Baboo with have the spontaneous photo taken of her when she was not prepared. She HATES her passport photo. It's ok. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. But this one is definitely better. And she looks more missionary in this one.
You have pictures again. I am guessing you paid. We pay $5 a year. Given that it saves pictures, we are okay with that.
ReplyDeleteI actually did not pay a thing. In a moment of utter frustration I tried to upload pics again. And it worked. No message telling me I was out of space! I don't know what happened, but I'll take it!
