Little Wink

I'm pretty sure that Winkleberry averages 2.5 calories per day from actual food.  The other 10 calories that make up her daily dietary intake presumably come from milk (or juice when it's available).  It's no wonder she's just a little wisp of a girl.  I like to make variety in my lunches and hopefully stumble across something appetizing enough that she will deign to eat it.  But I'm giving that up (again).  The wasted food is killing me.  So I am making her one thing at a time.  If she finishes it, she can have something else.  She has yet to get anything else yet.  Today she took two bites of her burrito.  She did polish off her orange juice, though.

It's pretty pathetic when she's so hungry and asking for food.  I'm a softie and so I like to actually give her food when she says she's hungry.  But then I find that bagel slice old and hard the next day with just one bite taken out of it.  I'm hoping that she eventually figures out that eating sates hunger.

  1. Grrrr! My little guy (same age) is the pickiest eater I have ever encountered. He used to eat pretty well, but lately It has gotten pretty bad. I am always a little scared because we have already had growth issues and now this kid will turn his head away from nearly everything. If it helps you feel any better, I think your little one outweighs and is taller than mine and he is six weeks or so older.
